Here we are back home and surrounded by snow - Dieter is just clearing our drive.
I would like to thank you for arranging our holiday, which was a great success. The organisation, promptness, efficiency and friendliness of all concerned was impressive.Everything went as planned and there were no problems. We were really well taken care of.
The only things I found hard to take were the abject poverty we saw, especially the mothers and children. It was distressing to see people living the way they do. It was also very unusual for us to not be able to go anywhere alone - usually we book flights and hotels and go everywhere by ourselves. In India we had rightly realised this was hardly possible owing to the street and traffic conditions, but I did miss it....
